Crane Storage, Loading, and Transportation

WT e.tronic tower cranes are designed to require up to 60% less storage and transport space than comparable cranes from other manufacturers.

This is due to the design of the jib system where two different profiles are used. Two jibs slide together to reduce space requirements.

Assembly of the shipping unit is clearly defined and masterfully conceived. Many small parts, such as rods, rope swivel crossbeam, bolts, and spigots, have a definite mounting location during transport. Reduced effort is required for inspection because most parts are automatically secured at their defined location. Only one lift is necessary per shipping unit. This concept not only provides for simple transportation but also for rapid and straight-forward assembly. Components can be assembled or preassembled in the order they are unloaded from the transporter. WILBERT crane machine platforms are typically pre-assembled.

The counterjib of the smaller units is designed to fit the standard shipping container. Counterjibs of the bigger units are equipped with container corners to be mounted and transported on top of standard containers.
